Jalan Segambut was planned to be upgraded into 6 lanes highway, allowing easy access between Mount Kiara, Segambut and Jalan Ipoh/Jln Kuching. From then properties started looming at premium price such as Bukit Prima Pelangi and Anjung Tiara. This however was planned about half a decade ago, until now there is still no indication of development work being initiated, the main reason behind it is the land title issue. |

| 871. | A Comprehensive Development Area shall be established in the northern part of the zone at the former federal government offices at Jalan Duta, which shall be developed to be a centre for the collection, distribution, marketing and exhibition of manufactured products that have been developed and patented in Malaysia. | | 872. | The Jalan Duta CDA shall primarily consist of high-end office and other commercial as well as residential development, hotel and MICE facilities and shall also include a specialist healthcare precinct to serve the local population of Kuala Lumpur as well as to promote healthcare tourism. A district park is also proposed in the CDA. |

| 877. | The PUTRA LRT and the KTM serve the south western edge of the zone connecting to the City Centre and the ERL rail terminus at KL Sentral which shall be developed as an integrated international rail-based transportation hub. This news probably already expired (was in news 2 years ago!). But at least this news should be published in the Royal Domain website. The new Istana Negara in Jalan Duta is supposed to be completed by 2009. Looking at the progress now, the land is still being cleared hence the completion date must be more than 2009. |

Is it real? There will be another future development along Jalan Kuching by Magna Prima. This could be the first major development of Jalan Kuching after being forgotten for many years. Magna Prima plans RM1bil 5-in-1 project KUALA LUMPUR: Magna Prima Bhd will embark on a mega five-in-one integrated development at Jalan Kuching here this year. Group managing director Steven Lee Kian Seng said the project, with a gross development value (GDV) of RM1.1bil, would comprise three-storey shop lots, eight-storey signature offices, two blocks of serviced apartments, a boutique hotel and a three-level retail mall. |
